Only last week we tasted the fruits of our labour from harvest 2018, Rondo, Regent and Pinot Noir all barrel ageing well. The good news is we also tasted vintages 2015, 2016 and 2017 “1581” our fortified wine, bottling of vintage 2015 is on the horizon with a release in time for Christmas 2019.
The cellar door this summer has been buzzing with visitors from far and wide. New release wines in May 2019 have certainly been well received. Some of you may have seen a visit by Oz Clarke mid July we were delighted to welcome him to our vineyard in Wales.
September also marks the annual food festival in our hometown of Abergavenny and we look forward to being there for a third year do pop along and say hello if you are in town. We also had the opportunity to attend Ludlow food festival this year with our quality Welsh wines with protected food names, provenance is key.
Helping hands at harvest time are always welcome we shall publish our predicted harvest dates (weather dependent) on Facebook and Twitter.
